New Gulf Region Coordinator Appointed
The Executive Leadership Team of the Assemblies of God recently approved David North Gulf Region Coordinator. David replaces Jim Seagroves who resigned in May after many years of excellent service as Regional Coordinator.
David is the director of NorthStar Residential Care, Inc., an agency that provides group homes for people with developmental disabilities. He is a graduate of Central Bible College (CBC) in Springfield, Missouri and has worked with Royal Rangers since 1979. Since that time, he has served as lieutenant commander, outpost commander, senior commander, area commander, divisional promotions and publicity coordinator, and district productions coordinator. David and his wife, Debbie, live in Blue Springs, Missouri (near Kansas City) and have three sons and three grandchildren. Their youngest son, Jon, received his Gold Medal of Achievement in 2006. David's passion is mentoring young men to become godly servants by giving them opportunities for ministry at home and abroad.
David and I have been close friends for 25 years; he was my Trailblazers commander at Central Assembly of God (outpost 6) when David was studying at CBC. He made me feel so welcome by befriending me, not waiting for me to befriend him. He encouraged me to pursue my dream to become a Royal Rangers missionary when others did not. David is an exceptional commander! Those of you who are privileged to know David are well acquainted with his abilities, his heart, and his commitment to ministry. Those who do not know him will soon discover these characteristics and will be as grateful to know him as so many others and I are. I would encourage you to keep him in your regular prayers. God has great things in store for the Gulf region and for Royal Rangers across this great nation and around the world!
