The following patch shapes are reserved for exclusive use by the national Royal Rangers office. No patches should be created using these shapes without specific written permission from the national office:
Districts may also choose to restrict the use of patches made in the shape of their district in order to reserve that shape for district events. Before creating patches in the shape of a district it is recommended that you contact that district's leadership to obtain permission.
Activity patches should be no larger than 3.5" wide by 3.5" tall in order to insure they will fit on the right pocket of most uniforms.
