Camporama Registration Hacks

Every Camporama has new leaders and outposts heading to Eagle Rock, Missouri for the first time. To help you make the most of the journey, we’ve gathered some tried-and-true tips from office staff who’ve been part of the last five Camporamas.

1. Register Early*. We get it—early registration can feel like a big commitment. But here’s the good news: this year, you can secure your spot with just a $30 non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due by March 31, 2026. That means you lock in the early-bird pricing and give yourself a few extra months to collect the rest of the funds. *(Note: If you add meals or a bunk at this time, you will have to pay for those in full with the deposit for registration. Meals and a bunk (if available) can be added later. A leader's registration can only be replaced with another leader. If you want to replace a leader with a boy, the registration must be cancelled and purchased at the current registration rate because of the paperwork that i tied to the registration type.)
2. Register a Group. This will work great for any outpost that encourages families to sign up their men and boys. The outpost leader will create the group with a specific, identifiable name and passcode. This may be the church name. Churches with more common names, such as First Assembly, Calvary, or Cornerstone, should add details to make their group unique. Use the outpost number, district, or city for the church. Registering as a group has several advantages. Everyone from the outpost is linked to that group, making is easier for the national office to locate anyone connected with that group if there are questions. It also streamlines the onsite check-in at National Camporama.
3. Buy Bulk*. Outposts and districts can purchase registrations in bulk and use our substitution policy later to assign spots as needed. If your outpost usually brings 10–15 people, reserve your spots early with a deposit. You’ll be glad you did when the group starts forming! *(Note: If you add meals or a bunk at this time, you will have to pay for those in full with the deposit for registration.    • How does this “buying bulk” work? Glad you asked. There isn’t a special button or special registration category. Instead, you’ll register as a group and list your information as the group leader (see #2). On the next page, you’ll select the number of adult and boy registrations that you want to purchase. When you continue, you will complete the first adult registration as the group leader. For the remaining spots, simply enter a “placeholder name” and fill in the required information for each registration. Use a leader name for the adult registrations and a boy’s name for the youth registrations.

      

   • Ready to update your “placeholder” information or add meals or a bunk? No problem. Just follow these easy steps. Step 1: Open your original registration confirmation email and click the Manage Attendees button. Step 2: Click on the small blue icon to the left of the placeholder person's name. Step 3: Click the Edit/Complete Info button. Step 4: Replace all the details for the person who’ll be using the registration. You can also add meals or a bunk. Step 5: Pay for meals or a bunk only if added. Step 6: Email [email protected] with the new person’s name. Step 7: Our office will send out a link to the correct form—the Assumption of Risk or the Parental Consent form—to finish the process.
4. Plan Meals. Camporama now offers customizable meal plans. Many outposts bring simple breakfast items—granola bars, donuts, cinnamon rolls, and fruit like apples or oranges—and then add the lunch option through the official plan. You can also prepare quick lunches yourself: think backpacking meals, hamburgers, or hot dogs with chips. Plan ahead so you’re only purchasing the meals you need.
5. Plan Educational Stops. From every corner of the United States, the road to Camporama is packed with educational opportunities the boys will enjoy. Turn the trip into an unforgettable learning adventure: visit the Grand Canyon, explore Civil War battlefields, stop at interactive museums, tour the Ark Encounter or Creation Museum, or enjoy the beauty of a national park. These side trips create unforgettable memories, encourage camaraderie, and teach valuable lessons along the way.
6. Plan Adventure Stops. Camporama is packed with action—but it’s not a theme park. If you’re up for more adventure, consider arriving early or staying late to visit Silver Dollar City, just a short drive from camp. We’ll have discount ticket info available on the Camporama website sometime after March. Not into roller coasters? A water park day is a great alternative. Missouri in July is hot and humid, and a day of swimming and cooling off can be the perfect wrap-up to a week of camp.
