Online Awards Application Process

To better serve leaders and streamline the award request process, the national office has transitioned all pinnacle award applications to a new, online system. This update was made to simplify access, improve the user experience, and accelerate the fulfillment timeline for all major awards.

Effective immediately, the following pinnacle awards must now be submitted online. As of June 1, 2025, we will no longer accept the Multiple Recipient Application via mail, email, or fax.

• Ranger Kids: Gold Trail
• Discovery Rangers: Gold Falcon, Gold Hawk, and Gold Eagle
• Adventure Rangers: Adventure Bronze, Adventure Silver, and Adventure Gold
• Expedition Rangers: E1, E2, and E3

The move to a digital platform provides multiple advantages for both leaders and the national office. Online submissions are received instantly, eliminating delays associated with mailing, emailing, and faxing the forms. In addition, all applications now require immediate payment by credit card, which removes the need for follow-up communication regarding billing and allows for faster order processing and shipping.

The online system also introduces enhanced accuracy and efficiency. Each application automatically generates a clear and accurate shipping label based on the information provided by the leader. This ensures that awards are delivered without the errors that sometimes occur with handwritten submissions. Furthermore, leaders can now type the recipient’s name exactly as it should appear on the certificate, eliminating potential misspellings or legibility issues.

Another benefit of the new system is the automated tracking number generated for each submission. This tracking ID serves as a reference for leaders to monitor the status of their request or to assist with any follow-up inquiries.

The overall goal of this digital transformation is to reduce turnaround time for award fulfillment and to provide a more user-friendly, efficient experience for leaders at all levels.

Looking ahead, additional awards are also being added to the online platform. The Gold Medal of Achievement (GMA), Trail of the Saber, Buffalo Awards, and Leaders’ MOE, OLAL, and OLT awards will be available for online submission by the end of summer 2025.
