LEAD 2010 was a Great Success!

The LEAD 2010 National Royal Rangers Council & Conference was a great success.  With several hundred in attendance, this conference was seen by many to be the best national conference yet.

Excellence Initative

Ranger Essentials

LEAD 2010 included an all-new training seminar for organizational leaders, called the Johnnie Barnes Excellence in Leadership and Ministry Initiative, in honor of our first National Commander Johnnie Barnes.  This first-ever event represents the first instance of the Organizational Leadership Seminars required for the advancement levels for organizational leaders.  Seminar topics included material on reading your environment, leadership habitudes, getting results, and the Question-Learn-Change process as well as other topics.  Audio files are available in MP3 format for all sessions.

The premier of the new Ranger Essentials training program was also a main feature of this event.  Ranger Essentials represents a core part of the requirements for the "Ready" level of Outpost Leader Advancement Levels.  This training program is now available in most Royal Ranger districts.

An announcement was made that the LEAD 2011 National Conference will be held in Dallas, Texas.  This move marks a departure from the traditional practice of conducting this event exclusively in Springfield, Missouri, the home city of the National Royal Rangers Ministry.  The change of location will make the event more accessible to those traveling by air and will provide attendees with a wider variety of activities to enjoy before or after the conference.  The date for the conference is March 10-12, 2011.

The National Royal Rangers Ministry team sends sincere thank yous to all who attended and helped make this event a great success.  Come join us in Dallas for LEAD 2011 as we renew our vision to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders!
