New Royal Rangers Web Site

June 26, 2017

An interesting trend has been in progress for the last several years in relation to Internet usage worldwide. In past years, most Internet users accessed the web through desktop computers and laptops. But over the last several years, Internet usage has increasingly shifted to mobile devices due in a large part to the increasingly sophistication of mobile operating systems, such as iOS and Android. Last November saw Internet usage on mobile devices surpass that of desktop devices for the first time ever with most of the "mobile devices" being smartphones rather than tablets. It has, therefore, become clear that anyone who wants to share their message online must do it in a way that is suitable for today's smartphones.

With these facts in mind, we are in the process of building a new Royal Rangers national website that is much more suitable for viewing on mobile devices. The new site is online now and can be found at Our old site is still available at and will continue there until we get all relevant information migrated to the new site. After that, the old site will be removed and replaced by the new site.

The new site has been built with these objectives in mind:

  • Provide a site that is more mobile-friendly
  • Provide a site that represents a more contemporary design
  • Remove dated content that is no longer relevant to the program today
  • Provide ways to make content on the site easier to find

Visit and let us know what you think of our new site. We're always open to suggestions.
