The National Royal Rangers Ministry is grateful for the involvement of women in shaping future men. Women serve faithfully in many non-camping capacities within the Royal Rangers ministry around the country. The majority serve as Ranger Kids leaders while others serve as outpost committee members or in other administrative positions. Many women also serve as certified instructors.
The local outpost committee, church board, or governing authority makes the final determination regarding the involvement of women in Royal Rangers leadership for the local church. The national Royal Rangers office highly recommends that women not attend overnight camp outs. Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship (FCF) membership is reserved for men and boys only since the program is based on primitive outdoor camping.
Women are encouraged to take advantage of the training available to Ranger leaders. The four Outpost Leaders Advancement Levels offer a variety of training opportunities, such as Ranger Foundations, Rangers Essentials, Ranger Safety, National Elementary Education Conference, World Class Outpost, and Continuous Learning Electives. Women are also encouraged to participate in the various Royal Rangers seminars and conferences and to become certified instructors.
Information concerning uniforms worn by women leaders can be found on our uniforms page.
The National Royal Rangers Ministry is grateful for the valuable investment women make in the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders!
