National Training Events
Below are upcoming national training events currently available for registration. To register for an event, please click the "Register" link to the right of each event listed. For details on each event, click on its "Information" link. To download a printed application (to mail to the National Royal Rangers office if you wish to pay by check), click the event's "Application" link.
If you wish to register for a national training event, we recommend doing so before its Minimum Registrations Deadline. We urge you to not wait for the event's status to be updated to "Event is a GO" before you register. If you register but the event does not receive enough registrations to be made a GO, you will receive a refund or option to transfer to another event. If you do not register and the event does not receive enough registrations, yours might have made the difference!
Please contact your district for information on district training events. Schedule information for those events is not available on this site.

National Rangers Ministry Conference (NRMC) will give instruction in skills and activities providing leaders with the skills needed to take their Ranger boys on exciting outpost activities outside their normal weekly meeting times. Instruction in effectively implementing the team/patrol method will be offered as a means to facilitate junior leadership development. Also, leaders will be challenged to connect with God and explore spiritual manhood.
National Elementary Education Conference (NEEC) is an interactive event that gives leaders training in various techniques and methods to effectively teach and mentor boys. Leaders will explore the development and needs of the early elementary age group, with Ranger Kids as the main focus.

The Johnnie Barnes Excellence in Ministry and Leadership Initiative (JBEI) will challenge leaders who hold or hope to hold positions of service on the district, regional or national levels to embrace habits and techniques of continual improvement to increase ministry influence and effectiveness. All organizational leaders should attend the seminar every five years to refresh their knowledge on current Royal Rangers organizational leadership topics.

National Academy is a national seminar designed to train recommended leaders to become instructors and staff members for national training events.

Advanced Academy is a national seminar designed to equip recommended National Academy Graduates for the specialized leadership roles (Director, Senior Patrol Leader, Coordinator, Chaplain, and Audio/Video Technician) for national training events.
